Bring the family and friends and enjoy the fun, adventure and excitement of Museum Day 2010. Free bus and trolley service is provided to six downtown museums (park at MPEC for shuttle service). Two other museums and one historic site can be accessed by private transportation.

The tree lined roads and pathways of Riverside Cemetery lead to the resting places of city leaders, honored members of the military, philanthropists, business leaders, industrial innovators, pioneers, politicians and the infamous.
Tour books offer significant insite into the lives, tales and works of the people who lived in and formed the city of Wichita Falls.

The Kemp Center for the Arts is the heart of the arts community in Wichita Falls. Home to the Arts Council, Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra, Sculpture Garden, NorthLight Gallery, West End Studio and the What's Up Downstairs area the Kemp Center is the place to experience art and culture in Northg Texas.

The Fire and Police Museum holds the history of the brave men and women of the Wichita Falls Fire and Police Departments. The WFPD was established in 1890 and the WFFD in 1893 as a volunteer fire department. Stop by and see equipment that fought fires and defended the law decades ago. This is undoubtedly one of the kid's favorites.

The Kell House is one of the most historically and architecturally significant buildings in Wichita Falls. The Museum features distinctive architecture, original family furnishings, decorative art, and historic clothing.

River Bend is an 18 acre environmental education center featutring the Ruby N. Priddy Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, River Bottom Forest Trail, Children's Garden, Hands-On Educational Classroom, giftshop and more.

Railroad buffs from across the country and around the world place the Wichita Falls Railroad Museum at the top of their list when wanting to be surrounded by everything railroad. Climb aboard actual train cars and Steam Locomotives including Commuter Cars, Pullman Troop Sleepers, Dining Cars, Post Office and Baggage Cars, Cabooses and so much more.

The museum honors the brave men who trained in Wichita Falls at the World War I Army Air Corp base known as Call Field from 1917-1918. Hundreds of pilots learned to fly using the Curtiss JN4-D "Jenny."  The museum has one of only five Curtiss Jenny's left that can take to the sky.
