Kemp Center Mystery Art Fest - Oct. 23
Mystery Exhibit Opens October 1, 2009 at the NorthLight Gallery. Final pre-auction viewing will be 6:00 p.m. Auction night is from 6:30 P.M. - 7:30 p.m. Auction for your favorite 8x10 piece of original art created by local and original artists. At the end of the auction, find out who the artist was.
Lucy Park's Halloween in the Park - Oct. 24
Bring the entire family to the Park and Recreation Department's 9th annual Lucy Park Halloween event. The event is a safe, family-oriented Halloween Carnival with activities for children of all ages: free costume contest and parade, face painting, moonwalk, cake walk, Clinko, ring toss, ball bingo game, pony rides, and lots more!Everyone (adults included) is invited to dress up in their favorite costume to enjoy the free Costume Parade & Contest sponsored by KNIN radio. Registration will be held from 4:30 to 5 p.m. at the Lucy Park Log Cabin.
Most of the actives are free, and some require tickets that can be bought at the event. There will also be food and drink concession available.
